Mission statement

The St. Luke Guild is an organization of Catholic healthcare professionals within the Diocese of Knoxville.  Its mission is to provide a means for Catholic healthcare professionals in East Tennessee to live out their vocation by applying the art and science of the healing professions to the glory of God among our neighbors in our region.

  • EDUCATION:  To educate ourselves and our colleagues in the principles of the Catholic faith in the science and practice of medicine, particularly in the realm of medical ethics.
  • SERVICE:  To provide Catholic health care to the poor and underserved people of East Tennessee through voluntary service in the Diocesan mobile clinic.
  • SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT:  To grow together in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, Who is the source and foundation of all that we do.
